Independent guidance on HubSpot pricing

Know what HubSpot will actually cost you.

Independent pricing analysis for companies buying, renewing, or expanding HubSpot. Seats, credits, capacity packs, and the parts the pricing page doesn't explain.

HubSpot pricing changed. Most buyers size it wrong.

Seat mix is the part you control

Which seat types you buy, and how many, is the part of the bill you control most. A wrong split repeats on every invoice for the length of the contract.

Credits are a forecast, not a lookup

Credits meter AI agents, AI workflow actions and intent data, and on HubSpot's current seats-and-credits pricing every email and workflow action too. They reset monthly and don't roll over. Your bill depends on behaviour your team hasn't exhibited yet.

Capacity packs can lock in a spike

On legacy pricing, capacity packs lock in your usage level. With auto-upgrade on by default, one busy month can raise your bill for the rest of your contract.

What you get

  • A costed monthly estimate for your specific configuration
  • A seat mix review that shows where you're overpaying
  • A credit consumption forecast based on real usage, not guesswork
  • A written summary of the assumptions, so finance can check the work

How it works

1

Share your setup

Team size, which teams will use it, contact volume, and what you're running today.

2

We model it

Against current and legacy HubSpot pricing, using your actual portal usage where one already exists.

3

You get the numbers

A costed estimate and every assumption behind it, in writing.

Did you know?

Six things about HubSpot pricing that don't appear on the pricing page.

It depends on how much email and automation you run. For now it applies only to new customers in EMEA. They pay per seat with no platform fees or marketing contact tiers, but every email and workflow action uses credits. For a marketing and sales team of 8 sending 20,000 emails a month, current pricing comes to $2,270 a month at list price, against $1,750 on legacy pricing. Existing customers, and new customers outside EMEA, keep legacy pricing.Read: Current vs legacy HubSpot pricing →

Usually, and by more than people expect. Marketing Hub Enterprise lists at $3,600/mo and Content Hub Enterprise at $1,500/mo. Bought together as HubSpot's Marketing+ bundle, the pair is $3,800 — Content Hub effectively costs $200. Customer Platform Enterprise at $4,700/mo includes every Enterprise Hub. A rep quotes the configuration you describe, not the cheapest route to the same capability, so the comparison is on you to run.Read: Customer Platform vs individual hubs →

Not if you have a large contact database. At HubSpot's list prices, 87,000 marketing contacts add about $3,550/mo on Marketing Hub Professional, roughly 4 cents per contact, but only about $760/mo on Enterprise, under 1 cent. Add the platform fees and the two editions cost almost the same: about $4,350 vs $4,360 a month. Contact-heavy, seat-light companies should run the crossover before they pick a tier.Read: How marketing contacts are billed →

Yes. Professional and Enterprise need at least a 12-month commitment, but how you pay is a separate choice. On Professional, paying the year upfront costs about 10% less than paying monthly, and HubSpot publishes both prices. Multi-year terms and quarterly billing aren't priced publicly, so they're negotiated deal by deal. Most buyers concede term and billing in the same breath. You can often agree the term and still ask for quarterly billing if cash flow matters.Read: Pay monthly or annually →

Earlier than feels necessary. HubSpot's fiscal year ends 31 December, with quarter closes on 31 March, 30 June and 30 September, and deals that land near those dates get compressed. Sixty to ninety days gives you time to model your actual usage, compare configurations properly and get a second opinion. Start in the final week and you are reacting to a deadline rather than shaping the deal.Read: What's negotiable in a HubSpot deal →

HubSpot moves you up to the next contact tier and bills it straight away, and you can't move back down until your contract renews. At list prices, each extra 5,000 contacts adds $150 to $250 a month on Professional, and each extra 10,000 adds $60 to $100 on Enterprise. The defence is to forecast your list conservatively, set unengaged contacts as non-marketing, and negotiate a documented growth ramp rather than buying your aspirational number on day one.Read: What happens when you go over your contact tier →

New name and address: RevTech Agency Pricing Guide

This site is now the RevTech Agency Pricing Guide at pricing.revtechagency.com. The homepage and calculator now state that the site is independent from HubSpot, Inc., and the calculator shows an accuracy disclaimer before and with its results. Prices and guide content are unchanged.

Ops Seats, email credits and spend controls explained

Our seats-and-credits guide now covers what an Ops Seat includes and what needs a GTM Seat, which emails use credits (sequences and inbox emails don't), how credit limits and alerts work, and which edition each credit rate applies to. The calculator no longer charges workflow or Customer Agent credits on Starter, which doesn't include them. The seats guide now has a section on GTM and Ops Seats, and the comparison guide's FAQ explains Ops Seats.

Clarified: seats-and-credits pricing is EMEA only for now

HubSpot's seats-and-credits pricing currently applies only to new customers in EMEA. New customers in the US and other regions still buy on hub-based pricing. We added this to every page that describes who each model applies to.
